Hamburg/Berlin, 18 November 2025 – PLATH is pleased to welcome Simon Lassalle as its new Head of Government Affairs and Head of the Berlin Office. With his many years of experience in political work in the German Bundestag, he brings with him comprehensive expertise in defence and security policy issues.
Simon Lassalle worked in the German Bundestag for a total of 14 years, including as office manager for the deputy chair of the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group. In this role, he was responsible for coordinating foreign and security policy work within the coalition. Prior to that, he headed the office of the security policy spokesperson for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group and was responsible for the budget of the Federal Ministry of Defence in the Budget Committee.
With his move to PLATH, Simon Lassalle has now taken on a central interface role between the company and the political public in Berlin since 1 September.
