Hamburg, 8. January 2026 – Matthias Assel joined the management team at PROCITEC GmbH on 1 January 2026. He will lead the company as managing director alongside Stefan Haase and will be responsible for product development.
With the expansion of its management team, PROCITEC is specifically strengthening the technological core of the company and setting the course for further sustainable growth in the field of highly specialised software solutions for signal monitoring and analysis.
Matthias Assel has extensive experience in managing complex development organisations. Most recently, he was Director of R&D SIX at Thales Deutschland GmbH, where he was responsible for the engineering division of a business unit with around 250 employees at several locations. In this role, he managed the development of safety-critical products, shaped the strategic development of the organisation and designed the cooperation with customers, authorities and research partners.
Matthias Assel previously held various management positions in software development and quality assurance at international technology companies. His professional career is characterised by in-depth technological expertise, the successful establishment of high-performance organisations and the implementation of sophisticated software solutions in security-critical fields of application.
