\"\"Hamburg, 07 January 2026<\/em> \u2013 Strategic change at RECONIQ: Effective 1 January 2026, Andreas Wiewel will take over as CEO sales and, together with Michael Kalt, will assume leadership of the company and be responsible for sales activities.<\/p>\n

RECONIQ is a fast-growing, technology-oriented company in the security and defence sector, focusing on highly innovative solutions for public safety organisations (PSOs) and national and international customers in the defence sector. With Andreas Wiewel, RECONIQ gains a proven expert in strategic sales and business development \u2013 both in B2B and government business (B2G).<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old has more than two decades of experience in leadership and management roles. Most recently, he was division manager and authorised signatory at DATAGROUP Defence IT Services, where he was responsible for sales, human resources and finance. Prior to that, he headed the global Defence & Security division at Institut Dr. Foerster GmbH & Co. KG and held several international management positions in sales.<\/p>\n

Wiewel combines his extensive management experience with comprehensive industry knowledge and international expertise \u2013 gained through positions in the OEM environment, manufacturing, IT and numerous international sales and market development projects. His career in the German Armed Forces, most recently in a leadership position as company commander with several foreign assignments, has also shaped his strategic thinking.<\/p>\n
